Happy people love colour

Happy minded people love colour the most, and it is a good sign when people dress in bright colours, or decorate their home in them.

The prejudice of the colour Green dies hard. Many people still have an aversion to wearing green, decorating their houses, or buying a green car. It is said do not wear a green dress out, because if anyone is wearing black they will supersede the green. Some old wives tales say wearing a green dress will be send the wearer into mourning, by news of an untimely or unexpected death. But green is lucky for May born people, what is bad luck for some, is lucky for others.

Brown or purple should not be worn at wedding, not even by the guests. These colours represent faded love and affection. If you wear brown to your job it is said you will work extra hard, without much benefit to you, but the benefit will go to someone else. It is ok though if the person is born in August or December. In Ethiopia brown means death, and is the colour of the earth to which we all return. Black is not unlucky and is good for people who are born in August or December. A black hat with a splash of colour is said to be lucky for all.

Flame colours worn at a wedding says that selfishness and greed is behind the partnership, yellow stands for jealousy, and violet for gravity, by either partner. 

Certain colours are said to have peculiar effects on the health of the wearer. Blue green and orange are said to calm nerves, to cure sleeplessness, depression and blood pressure. Blue acts as a tonic, the effects of blue on the body seems to be real! The best tonic of all, which makes us most invigorated, is a restful day spent outdoors lying on fresh green grass and looking up to a beautiful blue sky.

People who love blue are said to be philosophical and contemplators. Green and yellow, shows a cheerful personality. People, who like mauve, are said to be discontent. Someone who loves red denotes a cruel or harsh natured person, and deep purple by a sad person. White is preferred by the innocent, and black by the vain.

Hair Colours and Textures.

Course black or brown hair shows a strong character.

Stiff straight black hair, shows a person with a straight forward and rigid personality.

Fine hair of any colour denotes sensibility.

Flat clingy straight hair of any colour, speaks of a person who suffers with melancholy.

Harsh stiff hair, of any colour, means the person has a stubborn will.

Course red hair denotes conviviality, auburn hair purity of thoughts.

Fine curly hair of any colour shows a hasty, rash and impatient character, if very blonde, the person may be all of these, and also insolent.

It is the sulphur in red to fair haired people, and the carbon in brown to black haired people that is said to cause the disposition their owners!

A good job we can change the colour of our hair then, and prove all the above wrong, or is it? When people change their hair colour it is a proven fact that it can change their whole personality. I should know, I have been a hairdresser for 45 years, and by my own experience believe all the above mentioned about hair colour and texture to be very spot on.
