Telepathy
How to develop your telepathic senses
It is believed that everyone is born with a 6th sense but, it all depends on how this sense is developed or hindered in our early years. The persons own character plays a big part in the development of this extra sense too, it is said that the nature of some people is, they want to know, or be forewarned of dramatic events that are about to happen in their lives, so they can be prepared to face what’s coming, whilst others would rather wait until the “S..T” hits the fan, and then deal with it.
Research in the 50’s and 60’s proved that twins could sense from a very long distance what each was actually feeling emotionally, even to the extreme of knowing when the other one was injured. It was then discovered that this connection also existed between parents and brothers and sisters, in fact any family member. This communication is an unconscious event, which is often triggered by a painful or emotional distress call from the loved one.
How many times have you thought of someone, then a few minutes later they phone you! Or you think of someone you haven’t heard from in ages, just to get a call or letter from them? It is usually put down to coincidence, but is it? Pictures are picked up by ‘mentally’ seeing the person or experiencing the other person’s distress or pain, or even someone who just wants to see you. This 6th sense is called Empathy.
When you feel sympathy for another person, it means you understand completely how they are feeling, but when you feel Empathy it means you actually literaly ‘feel’ the same as they do! Telepathy usually works strongest between blood relatives where there is the strongest links. You could extend that to close friends and even the ‘dead’!
Conversely, acceptance of these powers can act towards a personal increase in Telepathic abilities, not only to be able to pick up thought patterns of the people you love, but also of your friends.
The techniques on how to develop this sense will be there for you in my next article, I hope you enjoy.
Techniques to Develop Telepathy.
You will need two people who are either related to you or are very close to you to practice the techniques plus a pack of ordinary playing cards. Like any other new thing you attempt, the more you practice the better you become, practice makes perfect!
Sit opposite each other and decide who will be the sender and who will be the receiver of the telepathic messages, then at some point swop roles. Some people are known to be stronger at receiving and some at sending. Developing this sense is like tuning your head into the frequency you need to listen to, just like a radio.
Then, the one who is going to be sending the messages, shuffles the pack of cards. The cards are then held in such a way that they cannot be seen at all by the receiver. The sender now looks hard and concentrates on whether or not it is a red card or a black card, the person receiving has to answer the correct colour. Note how many times they get it right.
The more you practice the better and clearer you will both become. When you have both got the hang of it, start trying to ‘see’ what suit of the card is. Then when you have tuned in enough start trying to see what the numbers are on each card.
Years ago I used to practice this with my 5 children until we all got so good at the game we no longer needed to use a pack of cards, we would just think of card and the other one would know which one was being thought of.
This turned out to save my life once! My husband and I had gone to visit my mother for the weekend in Gt. Yarmouth with the children. On the Saturday night we decided to go visit some friends in Ipswich which is about 60 miles away and my mother babysat for us.
As I was the driver I obviously didn’t drink that night, but my husband drank enough for both of us! Consequently he passed out and I could not get him into the car, I had to leave him at our friend’s house and said I would collect him in the morning. He was a very hard worker so I did not mind him going over the top when he had the chance to have a short break.
However I was very tired, it was around 2 am so the roads were very quiet, I headed back the 60 miles on my own. In those days the roads were mainly ‘B’ ones and very twisty for the whole journey. I thought I was ok, but about 10 miles from Yarmouth I fell asleep at the wheel. The next thing I remember was my son Zeb shouting loudly and as clear as a bell “MUMMY WAKE UP” from the back seat of the car.
In shock I slammed the breaks on only to find myself going the opposite way on a sharp bend, I could not believe I had fallen asleep at the wheel. I was so shocked and scared that I finished the last 10 miles fully awake and shaking. It was the shock of hearing my son’s voice from the back of the car that scared me the most, I did not dare look in the back seat until I was back at my Mums house, of course he was not there, he was fast asleep in bed!
I have driven tired again.
How many times have you thought of someone, only to hear the phone ring, which is a call from the very person you were thinking of? Most of us put telepathic experiences down to coincidence, but scientific investigations into psychic phenomena such as telepathy suggests it is more than this.
Telepathy works best where there is a strong link between the people concerned, for example Mothers and children and other close relatives, and can also extend to close friends. Telepathy is an unconscious event, often triggered by a painful emotional or physical event such as an accident.
Messages are can be picked up by mentally seeing the person, experiencing their pain or simply feeling a strong urge to see them or contact them. Although it is believed that we are all born with psychic skills, emotional stress, age and scepticism can prevent its manifestation. Conversely, acceptance of these unconscious powers can increase your sensitivity, not only to be able to pick up the thought waves of absent people, but to be more aware of other people around you.
Telepathy is also referred to sometimes as E.S.P. or Extra Sensory Perception. Another way to develop telepathy is to use cards with 5 basic symbols on them. A circle, a square, a triangle, a star and 5 black wavy lines. As with the playing cards technique one person is the sender and the other the receiver.
Paying closer attention to our intuitive feelings can help too, the most surprising things can happen when we listen to our inner voice, or take notice of our gut sense. Using a pendulum to dowse questions you have is another excellent way to develop your intuitive senses.
Get a pendulum (See my Pendulum article) and your address book or mobile phone where you store your telephone numbers, then use the Pendulum to find out who will phone you next. Or get a newspaper and try and dowse for which horse will win in the races that day.
To do this, relax and stop thinking about whether or not your guess will be right, as this could block your intuitive flow. Just keep practising every day and you will see how your intuition develops.
