The colour and character of eyes

The Eyes are the Window to Our Souls. It is said you can look onto the eyes of another person, who is your other half, and see your own soul.

There are 100 different shades of grey eyes alone! Grey eyes indicate intellect.

Blue-grey eyes have a more kindly feeling to them, than purely blue.

Blue eyes are physically the strongest, at least 7/10 of people who must have good eyesight, i.e. the armed forces and police etc. Have blue eyes, it is unusual to find a blue eyed person who is either colour blind or short sighted.

Blue-violet eyes are beautiful; they are really a dark shading of blue. These eyes are difficult to read behind, as the person looking at them is fascinated by their rare beauty.

Brown eyes are the kindest. These belong to people who are steadfast and constant, and tend to let their heart rule over their head.

Hazel eyes which are brown with flecks of green in the pupils, speaks of a talented person with a temper. They are also very charming.

Black eyes are really very deep brown, they belong to impetuous people. They find it hard to show their true feelings.

Green eyes are full of calculation, and are rare. They show a strong and successful character.

Eyes showing the white only under the pupils speak of a noble character, and a good life.

Eyes deep set in the socket shows shrewdness, these people can find a sardine at the bottom of the ocean. If the eye shape is long and deep set, it shows tact and sound judgment.

An eyelid that projects over the pupil, so it covers half of it is said to be a romantic and poet. Look at pictures of Shakespeare, Milton and Dante and John Lennon.

Long eyes always tell of intellect, they see everything and are not good at turning a blind eye. This means sometimes their attitude may be disliked by some.

Round eyed people always triumph in whatever they are trying to achieve, and may not care sometimes about the ethical way to get their end goal. A person with round eyes and slightly turned up nose like to gossip!

Eyes should be the same length as each other, and the same width as the bridge of the nose.

People who study eyes to help tell a person’s health are called an Iridologist. This method is now used in some hospitals around the world, and by opticians to diagnose illness, such as diabetics.
