Your Board is responsible for promoting the success of the Company by directing and supervising the Company’s affairs including entrepreneurial leadership within a framework of prudent and effective controls which enables risk to be assessed and managed, set strategic aims, ensure the necessary financial and other resources are in place for the Company to meet its objectives and set the Company’s values and standards to ensure that its obligations to its stakeholders and others are understood and met.

 

As a Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor and Impact Investor I will support you across the following elements:

 

Strategy: Constructively challenge and contribute to the development of your business strategy, bringing a clearer, wider and objective view of external factors affecting the business.

 

Performance: Scrutinize the performance of management in meeting agreed goals and objectives and monitor the reporting of performance.

 

Risk: Ensure that financial information is accurate, and that financial controls and systems of risk management are robust and defensible.

 

People: Determine the appropriate levels of remuneration of executive directors and have a prime role in appointing, and where necessary removing, senior management and in succession planning.
